The
Boy Singers of Maine,
a 30-year-old, nonprofit organization, celebrates the male voice in all stages of development through its three choirs: the Lyric (training), Concert (treble) and Lower Octave (mature voice) Choirs. The mission of The Boy Singers of Maine (BSM) is to provide an exemplary music education and performance training for boys aged 7 to 19 in an atmosphere that fosters sensitivity, character development, discipline and self-confidence. |
 |
| |
Choir members are taught music foundations as well as vocal skills, such as posture, respiration, phonation and ensemble singing, which prepare them for performance. Choir members also learn mental focus, proper rehearsal techniques and respect for composer, fellow performers and audience--the hallmarks of an excellent performer. |

Summertime Break for Annual Music Camp
|
| |
The Boy Singers of Maine are on break during the summer months. Our choristers will be enjoying their annual music camp week at Tripp Lake Camp in Poland in August, where the boys will be swimming, boating, playing tennis and basketball, gathering around the campfire, enjoying the Maine outdoors – and oh, yes, singing and getting their music ready for the coming year as well!
Please check back for announcements on upcoming events.

ANNOUNCING THE WINNER OF BSM's 'RAFFLE EXTRAORDINAIRE'!
Kathleen Dobson-Esposito, holder of the lucky winning ticket, # 128, is the winner of our Raffle Extraordinaire Grand Prize of $5,000!! The raffle drawing was held at the conclusion of the Boy Singers camp concert on Friday, August 27.
The boys in Concert Choir and Lower Octave once more enjoyed a great week at camp, culminating in a concert enjoyed by their families and friends on Friday evening. Immediately following the concert, Nancy McCann, Assistant Director of Tripp Lake Camp, drew the winning ticket.
Congratulations to Kathleen, and thanks to all of you who supported the Boy Singers through your purchase of raffle tickets!
Close to 200 raffle tickets were sold, and in addition, a very generous donation of $2,500 was made in connection with the raffle. Overall, the amount raised for the benefit of the Boy Singers was just under $7,000.
This will provide support that is very much needed to help us continue to offer excellence in choral education and performance to the boys and young men of Maine.
Once again, thanks to all for your continuing support of the Boy Singers!
