Both
the Lower Octave and Concert Choirs traveled north in June to represent
Maine in Le Mondial Choral Loto-Quebec International Choral Festival.
The
boys stayed in Montreal for 4 nights and performed at venues throughout
the city. This was an exciting experience to round out our 2006/2007
season!

Boy Singers Spring Concert - Saturday, May 12th
|

Our Spring concert this year was held at Woodfords Congregational Church
in Portland. All three of our choirs performed along with special
guests - the Windham Chamber Singers. The afternoon of music was
amazing - we raised the roof!

Anne Mason-Osann Scholarship Benefit Concert -April 25th
|
|
| |
Ann Mason-Osann, the former choral director of the Westbrook School department and director of the First Parish Congregational church choir of the First Parish Church
in Gorham lost her battle with cancer. For the past 6 years, this
concert has raised money for a scholarship awarded to a senior going on
to study music at the college level. |

First Parish Congregational Church on Rte. 114 in Gorham Center hosted the concert on Wednesday, April the 25th. |
|

The
concert featured Ann’s former senior choir of First Parish
church, the Gorham HS Chamber Singers, Westbrook HS Chamber Singers,
and the Concert Choir and Lower Octave of the Boy’s
Singers’ of Maine. |

Little Night Music is our
annual fundraising gala which includes a concert by the Concert Choir,
Lower Octave Choir, our alumni, and some very special guests. The theme
for this year was Broadway show tunes. |
|

The highlight of the evening
was our silent auction where we feature hundreds of items from generous
local vendors, businesses, and private donors. The event was truly
special this year as the Abromson Auditorium proved a terrific venue
for our singers and our guests. |
|

|

| |
The talents of our boys were
highlighted beautifully in a number of solo, duet and a cappella
performances. Thanks to all who worked to make this event
memorable! |

WCSH Channel 6 '207' Program - March 21
|

Our Lower Octave choir was the
musical guest for the program. The boys performed several songs
in the segment along with a brief interview with host Rob Caldwell. |
